Getting to Ceos

If you come by Caledonian Macbrayne ferry from Ullapool or by air you will arrive at Stornoway. Take the A859 south from Stornoway for about 12 miles. About three miles south of Leurbost look out for the Eilean Oir Jewellery signs and turn left by the bus shelters onto the Ceos (Keose) road.

The Caledonian Macbrayne ferry from Uig in Skye docks in Tarbert, Harris. If you come this way take the A859 north for about 25 miles. About one mile north of Laxay look out for the Eilean Oir Jewellery signs and turn right by the bus shelters onto the Ceos (Keose) road.

(The Sound of Harris ferry from the Uists arrives in Leverburgh which is a further 20 miles south on the A859).

Finding Tigh-na-Mara

From the Ceos (Keose) turn on the A859 drive for about one mile. After the second cattle grid look out for the large Eilean Oir Jewellery sign and turn right. Go straight ahead over another grid until you see two houses in front of you at the end of the road. Bear left into our parking area.
